 Pilates

Gullane Gym is running two Pilates classes. They are on Thursday nights at 5-6pm and Friday mornings at 9.15-10.15am. These two classes are for all abilities whether you have never done Pilates to more advanced Pilates. To make sure that everyone gets the most out of the Pilates class everyone must do one of our Pilates induction classes. These will run on the 1st Thursday of the month at 4.30pm. Once you have taken an induction class you can then book your spot in either of our Pilates classes. There are only 9 places available per class. Bookings can be taken a maximum one week in advance with priority going to those who were on the previous class. 

Members are free. Non-members - £7 per class.

 

Fitness Class Descriptions   

Power Circuit

This circuit, using weights, incoporates a number of different exercises in a fast paced format, working your entire body. It is designed so that your usual gym workout is compressed into a short and sharp 45mins, giving the 'burn' you desire. For all fitness abilites, both male & female.

Combat

A combination of kicking, punching & toning. This fat burning class is fast & furious & great fun! A great work out!

Core Stability

This total body work out using the big gym ball focuses on core stability and balance.

Gymsters

Activity sessions for children from 18 months to 5 years. Basic skills such as jumping, rolling, balancing & climbing are all developed through play & fun activities led by a fully qualified P.E teacher

Kettlebells

This calorie-burning class is paraded as the ultimate conditioning tool with its sharp movements and multidirectional planes of motion.

Legs, Bums & Tums

This high intensity workout will work your entire body in series of fat burning exercises.

Pilates

A workout that aims to build strength but without adding bulk, balancing between mind and muscle.

Spinning

This popular and highly energetic class uses specially designed indoor cycling bikes, giving you a fantastic aerobic workout that really tones the legs. It is low impact and taught in a fun way with music for motivation. The way spinning works, it allows both complete novices to highly trained athletes to workout in the same class.
